Habeas Corpus: A short history of it and a new tool against Trump.
I comment upon article by A.R. Hoffman of The New York Sun.
A.R. Hoffman wrote today in The New York Sun about the newest tool to stop Trump from deporting illegals. [I believe the article is behind a paywall; I subscribe which is how I saw it, but you can try this link if you wish.]
Hoffman succinctly reports on the history of habeas corpus in the the U.S., as well as the current push by who are clearly radical judges to use it as a tool to drag out the process of deporting and/or imprisoning alien criminals. Hoffman is a really good writer and you’ll enjoy the article.
As a reader, I commented online on Hoffman’s article wherein I asked:
“Mr. Hoffman, in an NPR online article dated December 24, 2012, by Corey Dade, it was reported that Obama deported 1.5 million illegals during his first term. Other presidents also have deported illegals en masse. Did anybody complain for those illegals? Was habeas corpus suspended at those times? Or, as it seems to be the case, are Democrats and RINOs and other social justice Marxists simply now using that as a tool against Trump because they hate him and the citizens who want law and order and common sense restored?”

Since the online version of The New York Sun only allows 600 characters in the comment section, that was as far as I could go in asking Mr. Hoffman to put more context into the subject, of which CECOT [pictured above] is often mentioned as a rallying cry for restoration of Marxists’ powers in the U.S.
Even the ACLU is fighting on behalf of illegal alien criminals, including Tren de Aragua.
What I find interesting about the fight against Trump’s efforts to protect citizens from illegal aliens who are clearly bad, bad boys and girls — and who have been sent here by enemies of the United States as a first wave to destroy the country — is that those doing the fighting say the invoking of the Alien Enemies Act is an 18th-century law only ever invoked during wartime.
They sneeringly say 18th century or centuries old as their noses wrinkle in disgust and they sniff self-righteously.
But who is now invoking an even older law — habeas corpus — to attempt to stop Trump who, clearly, is trying to protect citizens? Democrats, RINOs, social justice warriors, and all other manner of Marxists you can name, that’s who.
You see, Law only suits them if they can control how it is used to reach their goals. How dare anyone try to stop them? Here! Let us get the judges we’ve been holding back just for such a time as this and have them bring down Lawfare upon the heads of the law-abiding citizenry! Yea, though they try to stop us from destroying them, we shall fight on with trickery.
And, though they don’t say it aloud, they fight with malice aforethought.
Much has been written about the Biden administration — who knew he was fast advancing into dementia and when did they know it — and more is coming out now by people who publicly lied about his condition but are now trying to pretend they didn’t know and are pointing fingers of blame elsewhere.
The question is: Did Biden know he was importing a foreign invading force of criminals or didn’t he?
Frankly, I don’t think he did. I think drugs were used to prop up his mental acuity for the purposes of making public appearances, sign a few docs, and make short speeches, then off to the basement he’d go before they wore off.
Then when the drugs stopped working so well, and he couldn’t even write, they used a blasted Autopen to sign official documents.
Clearly, Biden was not running the country. But the Deep State and the Bureaucratic State, along with WEF and other NWO types, certainly were.
And by damn and by golly those folks knew they were importing a foreign army of criminals as a first wave to demoralize, frighten, and destroy the country from within.
Traitors they are. Not just against the country, but against mankind itself.
Evil has an easy enough time in staying strong because Evil always works with the weakest members of the human race. Those members who are either stupid (“I just did as I was told.”), immoral (“Hey, now, what’s the big deal?”), or purely evil themselves (“Hahahahahaha! I am ruler of the WORLD! Hahahahaha!”)
Biblical prophecies point to the time when Almighty God Himself will rein in Satan once and for all. Yes, Satan. The originator of lies, of hate, of child abuse, of victimization, of the love of all that is bad, of the love of power coupled with unchecked ego.
Almighty God put into humans the love of Good and the willingness to fight against Evil. Thus, the only thing keeping Evil in check is Good. The love of God, of His goodness, and the love of power deployed rationally against Evil is what keeps us going.
I know my Heavenly Father keeps his promises. I know there’s a reason for the way things are. I know His prophetic words will come true and His original purpose for mankind is restored.
You know who else knows this?
Satan. And he knows his time is short. That’s why he’s working overtime.
